Presentation 1 - BIM Case Study, Jason Howden and Brad Sara, Warren and Mahoney
Jason Howden, Director Warren and Mahoney Technologies and Brad Sara, Director Warren and Mahoney Technologies will present a case study from a recent BIM project or BIM pilot project, focusing of new cloud-based methodologies for design/model coordination and data reuse through the operational life of the facility post-construction.
Presentation 2 - The UK's Journey Towards Digital Disruption, David Philp, AECOM
David will look back at the UK’s journey towards Level 2 BIM, practical lessons learned and the next disruptive stage the journey towards Digital Built Britain and a digitised construction sector.
About the speaker:
David Philp, Global Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Information Management (Consultancy Director) for AECOM, Chair Scottish BIM Delivery Group (Scottish Futures Trust), Digital Built Britain Core Team.
David’s enthusiasm lies in highlighting the potential of new technologies and how we interact with them to bring added value to our customers and unlock new ways of working throughout the entire life-cycle. David is passionate about our industry and perceives BIM as being a catalyst for reform.
An early adopter of practical change and purposeful collaboration, he is Global Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Information Management (Consultancy Director) for AECOM, the global, fully integrated services firm. He is also seconded into the Scottish Future Trust (SFT) as Chair of the BIM Delivery Group and Digital Built Briatin as part of the core team.
He is also chair of the CIOB Digital Working Group.
David was seconded in the UK Cabinet Office in 2011 as Head of BIM Implementation and has been a key figure in the UK public sector BIM mandate.
He has over 100 Keynotes under his belt from RTC Australia, Fiatech Texas, KCC Budapest.
He is also joint author of the Dummies Guide To BIM. He lives in Scotland and his hobbies include photography and collecting air miles. A Fellow of the ICE, RICS and CIOB he has completed the Virtual Design and Construct at Stanford University, CA. and is a Professor at Glasgow Caledonian University.

Depending on time constraints, it is proposed to have an Open Floor Discussion, like we have done previously, for anyone to come forward with any issues they would like to discuss and to problem solve.
