BIMinNZ is a one-day conference on Building Information Modelling (BIM) representing an industry partnership between the New Zealand Institute of Building (NZIOB) and the BIM Acceleration Committee (BAC). BAC was created out of the government-sponsored Building and Construction Productivity Partnership, which viewed BIM as a leading tool to enhance productivity levels in the sector.
The inaugural BIMinNZ Conference is envisaged and delivered by industry, for industry, with funding support from the Building Research Levy.
BIM is an important part of the growing construction technology wave as it provides a high productivity platform for the entire construction sector. And, it is here in New Zealand to utilise now! Gain a greater understanding of BIM, the savings and benefits it provides across an asset’s lifecycle.
The BIMinNZ Conference includes keynotes on:
Denver International Airport (DEN), a property that has integrated BIM into US$5B of projects since 2014.
The use of BIM on a large-scale Malaysian rail project by Gamuda Engineering, currently under construction.
